At a very early age Pablo Picasso showed an
interest in art, which led his father to teach him art in drawing and painting
from the age of seven. Most of
Picasso’s works were considered to be radical.
He developed a style of painting that is called cubism, which is the
taking apart of objects to analyze them by their shapes. He also used fragments of papers and put
them together to use as collages in fine art.
Pablo Picasso is said to be the greatest artist of the twentieth century
and has made great contributions to the development of modern art. A famous quote of his is “Art is a lie that
makes us realize the truth."
